What are the Multiples of 2?

The numbers that are exactly divided by 2 are the multiples of 2.
When we divide any number by 2, we get no remainder, It means, the number is multiple of 2.
In other words we can say that multiples of 2 are the numbers that leave no remainder (i. e. Remainder = 0 ), when divided by 2.
Examples : 2, 4, 6, 8, 26, 42, 56 etc. are multiples of 2.
Any number that can be denoted in the form of 2n where n is a natural number is a multiple of 2.
2 is the smallest and only even prime number. Product of 2 with natural numbers are multiples of 2. For example, 2 multiplied by 6 is 12, so 12 is a multiple of 2.
14, 20, 28, 68, 90 and so on are examples of multiples of 2.
Multiple of 2 are also called even numbers and all even numbers are the multiples of 2.
The multiples of 2 are also divisible by 2.
We know that 2 is smallest and only even prime number.
How to identify the multiple of 2?
To identify the multiples of 2, we observe the last digit of each of the numbers.
Last digit of 62 is 2
Last digit of 54 is 4
Last digit of 86 is 6
Last digit of 108 is 8
Last digit of 100 is 0
Last digit of 2500 is 0 and so on.
We see that last digit or one’s digit of all numbers are 0, 2, 4, 6, and 8. These numbers are multiples of 2.
