Example- Convert 0.4 into fraction.

so put the 7 over 10
0.4 = 4/10
Example- Convert 0.34 into fraction.

it is hundredths(1/100)
so put the 34 over 100
0.34 = 34/100
We see the last digit that is , which is on hundredths place, so the denominator will be 100.
In the numerator, we write the given number without the decimal point.
Example- Convert 8.365 into fraction.
8.365

so put the 8365 over 1000
8365/1000
We see the last digit that is 5, which is on thousandths place, so the denominator will be 1000.

Example- Convert 0.0025 into fraction in the simplest form.

so put the 25 over 10000
