Definition: Perpendicular Lines
A line intersect another line and the angle between them is a right angle or 900 then the lines are said to be “Perpendicular.”
If a line AB perpendicular to CD, we write as
AB ⊥ CD.
Perpendicular denoted by “⊥”
If one of the angles formed by the intersection of two lines or line segments is a right angle, then all four angles will also be right angles.
