Trigonometric Ratios of Some Specific Angles

Trigonometric Ratios     

Here are Trigonometric Ratios of some Specific angles, 
  0^0, 30^0, 45^{0 ,} 60^{0  and} 90^0.

Example: (1) Find the value of sin60⁰ cos30⁰ + sin30⁰ cos60⁰

Values of Trigonometric Ratios from above table,
                        sin 60⁰ = √3/2, 
                       cos 30⁰ = √3/2,
                        sin 30⁰ = 1/2 
                        cos 60⁰ = 1/2 ,

Put value in sin 60⁰ cos 30⁰ + sin 30⁰ cos 60⁰, we get

                  = ( √3/2)(√3/2) + (1/2)(1/2)

                  = √9/4 + 1/4

                  = 3/4 + 1/4

                  = 4/4

                  = 1

Therefore, sin60⁰ cos30⁰ + sin30⁰ cos60⁰ = 1

                                                              

Example: (2) Find the value of 2 tan 45⁰ + cos² 30⁰ – sin² 60⁰

Values of Trigonometric Ratios from above table,

                        tan 45⁰ = 1
                        cos 30⁰ = √3/2
                        sin 60⁰  =  √3/2                            
Put the value in 2 tan 45⁰ + cos² 30⁰ – sin² 60^{0  
we get,}
                = 2 (1)  ⁺ (√3/2)² – (√3/2)<sup>2

                 = 2 x 1 +</sup>  √9/4 – √9/4

                = 2 + 3/4 – 3/4

                = 2

Therefore,   2 tan 45⁰ + cos² 30⁰ – sin² 60⁰ = 2

Example: (3) Find the value of
