Quadratic Equation  Introduction

If p(x) is a polynomial of degree 2, of any equation in the form p(x) = 0, is a Quadratic equation.

But when we write the terms of polynomial p(x) in descending order of their degree, then we get the standard form of a Quadratic equation. that is

                “ax+ bx + c = 0″, a ≠ 0.

A Quadratic equation is an equation in standard form
                   “axbx + c = 0″,

where x is Example, a, b, c, are real numbers, and a ≠ 0.

Example- (1) x– 4x + 5 = 0

               (2) x + 3x – 4 = 0

               (3) 3x + 5x – 7 = 0 are Quadratic equations.
