Elements of a Set 

 Definition:

 A number, letter or any object contained in a set is known as “Element of the set”.

Example 1:  Let set A = {1, 2, 3}

so the elements of set A are 1, 2 and 3.

                           set A = {1, 2, 3}

Example 2:  Set B = {pen, copy, book}

so the elements of set B are pen, copy and book.
