# Law of Sines – Trigonometry

**Law of sines or Sine law **

The law of sines or Sine law is one of the trigonometric laws which is useful for solving the angles or sides of a triangle.

In trigonometry, the law of Sines says that in any given triangle, the ratio of any side length to the sine of its opposite angle is the same for all three sides of the triangle.

**The law of Sines definition**

The sine rule, is also known as the law of sines, Sine rule or sine law, relates the lengths of the sides of a triangle to the sines of its angles.

**Law of Sines formula**

**a/SinA = b/SinB = c/SinC**

Where A is angle opposite side of a, B is angle opposite side of b and C is angle opposite side of c.
